* Show you how to maneuver through the site and its many sub areas and different vital information areas to fill in.
* Insider hints to make your site work at an optimum level for you
* Make a list of further additions to make to the site and what info to include so that guests know what to expect and aren’t constantly asking the same questions
* Talk about different attributes of your rental to highlight to draw in your audience and get your listing noticed.
* Discuss what needs to be done to your property to make it worthy of the coveted 5 star reviews including assessing needed practical home inventory
* Discuss what steps to take to achieve superhost and other status levels and what that means
* This session will also include a messaging or phone follow up once you have completed your airbnb listing with feedback communication of what tweaks and edits may improve the site to get your listing the most traffic possible

Rent to own

You’ve probably all heard of rent-to-own or lease purchases. It’s basically a way to buy a home when you aren’t quite yet in a position to qualify.
In the good old days, buyers used to be able to assume mortgages so if you could afford the payment then you could buy a property but the banks don’t allow that anymore.
This is why people choose a rent-to-own option. It allows you to do the same thing. As long as you’re comfortable with the payment and you have long enough to build up your credit and qualify to get a Mortgage in the term agreed upon then look for rent-to-own options.
They actually aren’t that easy to find. Most sellers need their money now and aren’t willing to play banker for you for a couple of years until you get your ducks in a row but we have some options for you!

AirBnB Red Deer and vacation rentals

At TeamKander we love AirBnB! In the last year we have rented out 2 very different spaces (one seasonal local listing and one tropical long distance listing). They have rented consistently on airbnb and Darlene has spent many hours learning the ropes and becoming an expert at communicating with the guests, setting up a successful listing site to engage the online searchers, and creating spaces that people love, are well equipped and bring the 5 star reviews. Nervous about buying a home? Eat the red Smarties!

Did You Know...Most people get butterflies after they autograph the paperwork to invest in a home. If people could run around spending hundreds of thousands of dollars without a thought I think I’d worry about them. I always tell people “it’s normal to get nervous, about two or three in the morning you’re going to sit straight up in bed and wonder what you’ve done!”
I tell them to eat smarties (the red ones work the best) and they’ll be fine in the morning. It happens to everyone!

Can you trade your house? A: YES

Did you know that you can trade your house for another house?
This is one of my favourite ways to purchase a new home. Its great because instead of having to sell your house and then go ahead and find another house to buy, you can literally trade your home to the person that you wanted to buy the house from. I have done this on numerous occasions.
A few years ago I needed to move into a bungalow in town because I wasn’t able to walk up and down stairs; I actually traded four small properties for one beautiful showhome. It was just like Monopoly, trading little houses for a big one.
